Radio… Lounge urbain radio is a weekly 4-hour French program with good music and current and old sounds from here and elsewhere. The host Keithy Antoine aka Lady SpecialK and her collaborators are true music lovers who love to communicate! Together they explore the rich and multiple universes of the urban generation. It’s on every Saturday night from midnight to 4 am on the Montreal airwaves of 1610 AM and it’s rebroadcasted on the web. Keithy Antoine aka Lady SpecialK
Living in Quebec and born in Haiti, the montrealer Keithy Antoine aka Lady SpecialK is a business woman, illustrator, graphic artist, journalist, model, fashionista and DJ and she specializes in everything that covers and includes the urban culture in its diversity, complexity and codes. She started getting known as a host on different radio and TV shows. She is very lively and respected from her numerous contributions in the hip-hop and urban culture movement in Quebec and in Canada.
With a solid experience, not only she has been hosting and producing cultural shows as much as entertaining shows for more than twenty years in radio and television, but she has collaborated with others as a graphic artist and illustrator on very prestigious, creative and progressive projects. She is an experienced entrepreneur who has many awards under her belt: special mentions and media coverage. Also, she has been lending her pretty little face to various ad campaigns in television, print, web and radio since she was a little girl.
Known for being outspoken, her charisma and her contagious smile, Keithy Antoine campaigns for the emancipation of artists and craftsmen in the urban culture from here and elsewhere. She also manifests her love for music by DJing. Hence, she is a member of the Amazones DJ Crew from Montreal and the All-Starz DJs from New York.
